Built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform
WhatsApp Business API for clinics and agencies
LeadMara is outbound contact software for clinics, agencies and property groups. It messages and calls the people who enquired about your services, books their appointments and reminds them, all through the official WhatsApp Business Platform (the Cloud API) and under your own business name.
No more numbers banned for unofficial tools.
Bulk senders, WhatsApp Web bots and modified apps such as GB WhatsApp break WhatsApp's terms, and that is what gets business numbers banned. LeadMara uses none of them. Your number is never at risk for the tool you use, and consent-first sending keeps its quality high.

Why the official platform matters
Software can send WhatsApp messages in two ways. The first drives the ordinary WhatsApp app, through WhatsApp Web, a browser extension or a modified app, and tries to look like a person typing. WhatsApp's Terms of Service list bulk messaging, auto-messaging and auto-dialing as impermissible, and its Help Center says unofficial apps violate the Terms and can get an account banned. The second is the WhatsApp Business Platform, which Meta built so that businesses can talk to customers through software. LeadMara only uses the second.
| Unofficial tools | LeadMara, on the official platform | |
|---|---|---|
| How it connects | Drives WhatsApp Web, an extension or a modified app | WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) |
| First message to a new contact | Any text, sent in bulk | A template approved by Meta, sent to people who gave permission |
| Risk from the tool itself | It breaks WhatsApp's terms, so the number can be banned just for using it | None: this is the route WhatsApp provides for business software |
| Quality and limits | Invisible until the ban arrives | A quality rating and messaging limit that LeadMara watches for you |
| When something goes wrong | A ban screen and a review request in the app; with no review option, the ban is final | Warnings first, then time-limited blocks, and a formal appeal in Business Support Home that LeadMara files for you |
The official platform is not a licence to spam. Meta can still limit a number that people block or report, or one that breaks its policies. The difference is that it happens because of how you message, never because of the tool you use, and LeadMara's rules are built to keep you on the right side of that line.
What LeadMara does
Approved templates for the first message
Outside the 24-hour customer service window, WhatsApp only allows templates that Meta has approved. LeadMara sends the first message from your approved templates, under your business name, and shows the 24-hour reply window on every conversation as a countdown, and enforces it.
Calls over WhatsApp, with permission first
LeadMara asks for permission to call with Meta's own call-permission request. When the person accepts, a 7-day calling window opens and the lead is queued for an operator, who calls over WhatsApp from the browser or the Android app, with no phone bill. Incoming calls reach the operator too. Call audio is never recorded.
A shared inbox for the whole team
Several operators work on the same number, but each contact is locked to one of them, so nobody gets two messages from two different people. Photos, video, documents, voice notes and locations work both ways, and the phone notifies the operator the moment a customer writes.
Appointments and reminders
Book the appointment from the call console while you are still on the line. The contact gets a confirmation straight away and, before the day, a reminder with Confirm and Reschedule buttons. Their answer lands back on the appointment, so you know who is coming.
Leads in, nobody lost
Import a list as a CSV, where duplicates and erased numbers are refused, or connect a sheet or a form to a department so that new rows become leads already assigned to an operator. A returning enquiry merges into the person already there, and a recycle pool means a lead nobody reached is not a lead lost.
Made for teams in more than one country
The interface is available in 12 languages, on the web and on Android. An agency can run many clients on one deployment, each with its own number and its own data. Sign-in can be limited to the addresses your clinic works from, with two-step sign-in, and every operator sees only their own contacts.
How it works
- The arrangement is agreed. LeadMara operates your WhatsApp Business Account as your authorised messaging provider, with your written authorisation. Messages go out under your business's own display name.
- Templates are approved. Every template goes through Meta's approval before it is used.
- Leads come in. From a CSV, a sheet or a form, and each one is assigned to an operator.
- They are asked the right way. The first message is Meta's call-permission request, sent as an approved template in the lead's language; whoever accepts is queued, and the operator calls, chats and books the appointment.
- The number stays healthy. Refusals are kept: someone who replies STOP is never approached again, through any department.
Who it is for
- Clinics. Dental, aesthetic and medical clinics that follow up enquiries from their advertising, including clinics in Albania that look after patients travelling from Italy and the rest of Europe.
- Agencies. Agencies that generate and handle leads for several clients, each with its own WhatsApp number and its own data.
- Property groups. Teams that call back buyers and tenants who enquired about a listing.
What it costs
Messages and connected call minutes are priced by destination, from a published rate card; the rates agreed with you may be lower. The platform fee is agreed with you. Calls are billed on connected time, and calls nobody answered and importing contacts cost nothing. The calculator on the LeadMara home page shows the published price for each destination.
Clinics already using it
LeadMara operates the WhatsApp Business accounts of Tokë Medical Center and Bega’s Clinic as their authorised messaging provider. See who we message for.
Questions about the WhatsApp Business API
What is the difference between the WhatsApp Business app and the WhatsApp Business API?
The WhatsApp Business app is a free app for one phone, used by hand. The WhatsApp Business API, now called the WhatsApp Business Platform or Cloud API, lets software send and receive messages for a business: several operators at once, approved templates for the first contact, and the automation WhatsApp allows. Using software to drive the ordinary app instead is what WhatsApp prohibits.
Can my number be banned on the official WhatsApp Business API?
Not for the tool you use. A number can still be limited if many people block or report your messages, or if you break the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy: Meta starts with warnings, then applies time-limited blocks, and LeadMara files the appeal in Business Support Home. LeadMara’s consent-first rules exist to keep your quality rating high.
How many messages can I send per day?
On the official platform the limit counts how many different people a business portfolio can message outside the 24-hour window in any rolling 24 hours. A new portfolio starts at 250, and the limit rises to 2,000, 10,000, 100,000 and then unlimited as quality stays high. LeadMara handles business verification and watches the limit for you. Replies to people who wrote to you in the last 24 hours do not count.
Is the WhatsApp Business API free?
No. Meta charges per message, by the type of message and the recipient’s country. With LeadMara, messages and connected call minutes are priced by destination from a published rate card, and the platform fee is agreed with you.
Can a business call customers on WhatsApp?
Yes, with permission. On the WhatsApp Business Platform a business may only call someone who has agreed to be called. LeadMara asks with Meta’s own permission request and, when the person accepts, opens a 7-day calling window. Business-initiated calling is not available for business numbers in some countries.
Does LeadMara work for clinics in Albania contacting patients in Italy?
Yes. It was built for exactly that: clinics in Albania that answer enquiries from Italy and the rest of Europe, in the patient’s language and under the clinic’s own name. The interface itself is available in 12 languages, including Albanian and Italian.
Who sends the messages?
Your business does, under its own display name. LeadMara operates the WhatsApp Business Account on your behalf as your authorised messaging provider, with your written authorisation, and the businesses it messages for are listed publicly.
